This guide goes through how to manage and listen to your Voicemail.
Before we start

You will need to log into your Wave account. If you are unsure how to do this, please follow our
How to Login to your Wave Control Panel.

This article contains the following sections on how to listen to your voicemail:

1.Via the Control Panel
2.Via your phone
3.Via Email

Via the Control Panel

After logging in to your control panel select ‘Voicemail Messages’ from the top menu
(within the Messaging section).

A list of all voicemails across all user and hunt groups will be available.

From here you can perform various actions:

  • Listen to your voicemail messages;
  • Change the message status between read and unread
  • Delete messages  and download messages . You can easily delete or download a voicemail message by clicking the  button for the particular message and then the function desired.

Additionally, you can choose to view all of the voicemail messages for a single user or hunt
group by simply opening the menu at the top of the page. The default in this page is
the “Unified Messages” folder, showing all of your messages.

Once the menu is open, choose which user or hunt group you’d like to check the
voicemail messages for.

Via your phone

  • To listen to any voicemail messages for your extension, dial *1 from your phone;
  • Some handsets alert you with an audible and visual notification that voicemail is waiting (for example, an intermittent dial tone, or an envelope may appear on the screen);

Via Email

  • Any recorded voicemails are forwarded to your email address with a WAV file attachment (unless you disable this option). You can then play this file on your computer.
  • For the email notifications to work, the email address for notifications has to be a valid email address.
